Make-A-Wish

The Marino Group is proud to announce the newest designation earned by our team – that of Wishgranters for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida.  Tony Marino, Jacqueline Glasgow and Shannon Livingston participated in training with the foundation to teach them how to go into the homes of children with life threatening illnesses and inform them that their wish will be granted.  Tony Marino and Shannon Livingston are on the Make-A-Wish President’s Council of Collier County and Marino Group’s Regency Transportation provides limousines to wish families to make the experience as memorable as possible.  To see how you can get involved with Make-A-Wish call 888-773-9474.

Gas prices are out of control, and they affect some businesses more than others.  Transportation companies are raising their prices in an effort to offset their fuel costs.  The Marino Group’s Regency Transportation has kept our fuel charge at 10%, which makes our clients happy.  Now, for anyone who follows us on Twitter, reads our blog, receives our newsletter, or is our Facebook friend, we will waive the fuel charge on any reservation for transportation this Summer!  This is a substantial savings for your daycare or church group that needs a bus for their summer outings.  Take advantage of the off season in Naples and take a limo to dinner, or treat yourself to a luxurious sedan ride to the airport.  Your reservation must be made and the job performed before September 1, 2011.  Please mention this preferred pricing when you call Ashley at 239.596.5517.  Thank you for your business!

Season is here!

If you live in Naples, you have noticed the increase of cars with various state license plates (and Canada, of course).  While the traffic has become more congested and the wait time at a restaurant may be longer, we are happy to see our snowbirds are back.  The Marino Group’s Regency Transportation is looking forward to seeing our seasonal clients again this year, and Marino Parking is gearing up for the opening of valet stands on Fifth Ave after Thanksgiving.  Welcome back to Naples if you are just coming back to town, and if you are an annual resident – hang on, because season is here!

Crossing the line

Going green

A lot of businesses and individuals are realizing the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.  The Marino Group’s office tries to do our part by printing only when necessary, using both sides of the paper, using filtered water pitchers rather than bottles, and recycling.  We have a fleet of vehicles that range in size from sedans to a 36 passenger bus.  We are seeing more people organizing their group outings to take a bus rather than multiple cars, which reduces the carbon imprint on the environment.  Our small bus holds 13 passengers, which is perfect for a small group of friends for a day trip or evening out.  You can travel more comfortably than in a car and not have to worry about directions or parking and do your part for the enviroment at the same time.  Give us a call to organize your group’s transportation.  239.596.5517

Scavenger Hunt!

The Marino Group is partnering with Jack’s River Bar to have a scavenger hunt on our 32 passenger VIP limo bus.  We provide the list, hunt locations, food, and drinks on board the party bus. We make a stop at Jack’s to total up the scoresheets and hand out the prizes.  Grand prize is a $50 bar tab at Jack’s River Bar, t-shirt and hat.  Second prize gets a t-shirt and consolation drink.  Other prizes will be given for categories such as biggest cheat, least amount of effort, and most creative interpretation of categories.  Tickets are $30 per person and includes food and drinks on the bus, transportation and entertainment fees.  Call Shannon at 239.404.8983 or email her at shannon@marinogroupservices.com for tickets and more information.

Scavenger Hunt

The Marino Group has added entertainment packages to our list of services.  One of our newest additions is our Scavenger Hunt.  We can tailor it to any theme and geographical area – we provide the maps, guide and prizes.  Our next Scavenger Hunt will be a trip to Jack’s River Bar – a place that is well hidden but worth the search.  All participants are given a list of items to secure and board our 32 passenger VIP limo bus, which makes two stops for hunting on the way to Jack’s.  Food and beverages from Jack’s River Bar will be on the limo bus, and they have generously donated some great prizes for the winners and some not so great prizes for the losers.  Tickets are only $30 per person.  Price includes food and drinks on the bus, transportation, and entertainment fees.  Please call Shannon Livingston at 239.404.8983 for tickets or more information.
